We would like to draw your attention to a public panel discussion on “Reconciliation, Reclamation, Resurgence – Transnational and Interdisciplinary Perspectives,” on Thursday, 9 July 2026, 6pm (IMPULSE, Adenauerallee 131).
This public panel discussion brings together Indigenous Canadian, African American, German, and Namibian perspectives on processes and practices of reconciliation, reclamation, and resurgence. It showcases the research of four scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds, exploring the meanings, potentials, and limitations of the notion of reconciliation, along with possible alternatives.
The discussion is part of the “Reconciliation, Reclamation, Resurgence” symposium of the DFG research network “The Cultural Politics of Reconciliation.” This event is jointly organised by the DFG network, the BCDSS and the BCRS.
