Wie entsteht ein Bild mit Sonnenlicht?

In diesem Workshop gestalten wir mit Naturmaterialien wie Blättern,
Blüten und anderen Fundstücken einzigartige Motive. Mithilfe der
Zyanotypie, einem frühen fotografischen Verfahren, das unter anderem in der Botanik zur Dokumentation von Pflanzen eingesetzt wurde, entstehen durch das UV-Licht der Sonne leuchtend blaue Bilder auf Papier. So könnt ihr die Formen der verwendeten Materialien in individuellen Bildkompositionen festhalten.

Bringt gerne Blätter, Blüten oder Gräser mit! Sie sollten möglichst
frisch und nicht zu trocken sein, damit ihre feinen Strukturen besonders gut sichtbar werden.

Das Duftlabor ist in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut für Pharmazeutische Biologie entstanden und partizipativer Teil der Ausstellung „Pflanzenwissen – Ökologien des Erinnerns und Handelns“ im Global Heritage Lab/P26.

How do you create an image using sunlight?

In this workshop, we’ll use natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and other found objects to create unique designs. We will use the cyanotype process, which was originally used in botany to document plants, to create vibrant blue images on paper using the sun’s UV light. This allows you to capture the shapes of the materials used in your own compositions. This way, you can capture the shapes of the materials used in your own individual compositions.

Feel free to bring leaves, flowers, or grasses! They should be as fresh as possible and not too dry, so that their delicate structures are clearly visible.
