We are pleased to share that Aline Barbosa Pereira and Alejandro Mora Motta are participating in the POLLEN Conference 2026 in Barcelona.

They are convening and participating in Panel P102:

“Time is of the essence: Temporal (in)justice, extractivisms, and dispossessions in the ‘green transition’.”

The panel explores how the accelerating global “green transition” reshapes experiences of time, justice, and dispossession across Indigenous and rural territories. It critically examines how extractive projects and renewable energy infrastructures impose urgent political and economic temporalities that often clash with slower, place-based rhythms, intergenerational knowledge, and alternative futures.
