My name is Nana Tsiklauri. I grew up in Georgia where I attended music and language school specialising in piano and German.

I studied Education and History (M.A.) at Cologne University, and Teaching German as a Foreign Language (DaF) at Bonn University. In this capacity I had a grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to spend a year gaining cross-cultural experience at the Pontifica Universidad Cátolica del Ecuador in Quito.

I still follow my passion for other cultures, languages and music. I have had the opportunity to teach German and hopefully inspire my students with regard to the rich German culture at several language schools.

I also appreciated the opportunity to work at the Centre for Development Research (ZEF) where I worked in an international team and helped the academic staff organise their research at our university.

Now I still teach German at a primary school and at the same time support the Global Heritage Lab team with administrative issues.
