As a research assistant for the exhibition space of the Global Heritage Lab, I supervise the current exhibition Global Entanglements in the Collections of the University of Bonn and work on the conception, organization and implementation of accompanying programs and events in order to create an engaging and lively space which encourages discussion and critical reflection.

For my Bachelor’s degree, I majored in Ethnology at the University of Leipzig, where I discovered my interest in critical museology, particularly in how ethnological museums address and navigate their colonial pasts. I am currently a Master’s student in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on museum studies at the University of Bonn. My studies have deepened my understanding of the critical role museums play in shaping collective memory and cultural narratives. I understand museums as institutional spaces that can work as facilitators of dialogue, build sustainable relationships and, if they remain self-reflective and address power structures, can foster co-creations of knowledge in which marginalized voices are centered.
