As a research assistant for the exhibition space of the Global Heritage Lab, I supervise the current exhibition Global Entanglements in the Collections of the University of Bonn and work on the conception, organization and implementation of accompanying programs and events in order to create an engaging and lively space which encourages discussion and critical reflection.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Archaeology at the University of Bonn with a thesis on cowrie shells, gender, and historical object distribution.
Due to my ongoing, strong interest in museums and communicating complex topics to a broad audience, I specialized in museum studies during my master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology. My main interest lies in the intertwining interests of exhibitors, institutions, visitors, and participants during the conception phase. Particular attention is paid to modern, new exhibition concepts that allow the viewer and the creator society to interact through the object. I hope to develop or learn new forms of knowledge production that make it possible to spark interest in complex topics among a large audience.
